Bandits Signing Recap

The Sioux City Bandits are gearing up for the 2024 season, which will mark their debut in the National Arena League. With this move, the team is committed to expanding its reach nationally and bringing top-tier talent to Siouxland. The Sioux City Bandits are determined to offer high-quality professional football at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Xavier Spann:

The Sioux City Bandits welcome back 3-year Veteran Xavier Spann to the squad for the 2024 season. Spann a local product out of Morningside University will continue to be a staple in the defensive backfield in 2024. The Veteran looks to lead a squad of the best defenders in arena football. 

Quantaye Battle:

The Sioux City Bandits are pleased to announce Rookie Quantay Battle. Battle will join Xavier Spann as a defensive back. If receivers think the walls hit hard, wait til they get smacked by Battle who comes in at 6 ft 3inches and 215 pounds with incredible speed. Battle was an HBCU All-American and 2x CIAA All-Conference. 

Steven Fluker:

The Sioux City Bandits welcome Offensive and Defensive Lineman Steven Fluker to the team. Fluker is no stranger to the arena / indoor football game lining up for the Salina Liberty, Wichita Force, and Omaha Beef Previously. Fluker is a big man who can be a game-changer on either side of the ball. This will be Fluker's first run with the Sioux City Bandits.

Nathan Tilford

The Sioux City Bandits are excited to announce the addition of rookie Nathan Tilford. Tilford is a rookie running back out of the University of Arizona and the University of Texas Permian Basin. Tilford will be a great addition to the Sioux City Bandits backfield for the 2024 season. 

Tyler Lauenstein

The Sioux City Bandits welcome back Tyler Lauenstein for his second season with the Bandits. Lauenstein is listed as a Quarterback on the Roster, but he's an athlete by nature. He played baseball in college and has the arm to prove it. Whether you find him taking snaps, or making key tackles on special teams he does it all. A true team player that we're glad to have back.
